You can only extend your love to so many things.
When you extend it far beyond humankind, then what is a person to you?
Perhaps “what it means to be human” is choosing human survival above all other things.
Or perhaps it is just the oldest religion.
But as “human” begins to change, we no longer agree what it is.
Who will fight to keep it alive-
and who will learn to die, and love beyond it?
